ZANETTI - BURRATA Cheese - 150g


Burrata is a stretched curd cheese made from cow's milk. Its peculiarity consists in the fact that it is a double-structured cheese: the outer casing is in fact composed of a sheet of mozzarella paste, while the inside is made up of whey butter. The burrata was a poor product consisting precisely of the waste from the mozzarella processing, modeled to constitute the outer casing to contain the butter, also obtained by centrifugation from the whey, i.e. the waste from the processing of the cheese from which it is also produced ricotta. Considered today a true delicacy, its processing is quite simple, also because it is a product that does not require any seasoning.
